My best guess is that they are working on there servers. I stuck to playing the 360 edition yesterday and didn't fire up my one at all. When I was on the 1 monday I couldn't access the china rising or 2nd assault maps even though I have them.
Very strange!
It is indeed shades of BF3! If I recall right ,that when you went into a non-ranked private server,it would reset all the loadouts back to there start.
So I'm starting to wonder if there testing out private servers before they are released to the world? Thank you for your reply,I was glad to find out that it wasn't just me.
What a true understatement this story is!
I went on this morning to play the xbox 360 copy, joined a server and found that my loadouts had reset to the begining! ACK!!! Rebooted and everything was back to normal as far as normal goes for BF4!
Also saw that the event for premium members ( 2xp ) has been postponed till further notice. This not good!
I feel your pain....and so does my Xbox 360's hard drive!
I have been playing the XB 360 edition bf4 now since its day of release and have had my share of issues with it ( as I have had with any BF game at release ) I must say it has gotten better ( but as EA/dice have said it will NEVER be perfect ).
I share your thoughts on buying anything new from EA for atleast 6 months after it comes out.
I must say that the BF4 for the XB1 has been very good and a night and day difference from the 360 edition.
When was on my Xb360 yesterday in the AM everything was normal. When I tried in the PM with my XB 1 to help a friend set his account up,I couldn't access the china rising or 2nd assualt maps....so this story makes sense!
BTW,is anyone else having freeze up issues with the BF4 360 edition of dawnbreaker? I never see anything posted in the patch notes about it getting fixed. Much less anyone complaining about it.
Also did any of you premium members notice...
ROFLMAO!!!!!!
BTW the way I got ya by 20 years!
Oh I would love to! I have heard nothing but great things about the ARMA series. The problem i have with PC gaming is that each time a new game comes out ,the was state of the art pc i'm using is out dated and has to be upgraded at some cost.
Don't get me wrong,I have had my share of PC gaming enjoyment and MS motocross madness 2.as well as Battlefield 2 will always be my most favorite games of ALL time! But for me a console is just easier to live with. I enjoy picki...
You Sir are a true gamer and KNOW a great modern military shooter when you play 1! See my other posts in this thread.
What makes your post hit home with me is your comment about "teamwork"! It seems to be a lost cause these days. I blame that on the current main stream young gamers me,me,me thought process and any CoD game to date that is all "run and gun".
I hope that you won't get totally turned off at console games and the more ma...
The bad thing about MAG was that you had to be leveled up pretty high to take advantage of the 64/128 player maps and modes and what made that even harder was the sever lag issue with its game play.
It was a great idea, but it just didn't work for the PS3's lack of computer power, but now of days with the PS4,it could become a BF4 beater.
I bought a PS3 just to play MAG on. I would like to see a port over of the ARMA series to both the XB uno and ps 4.
As far as the 64 ( or was that 66? ) players on the next gen,YES and it works very well! Thank you!
While we are on the subject of port overs to the next gen, what about a new SOCOM,Homefront,Ghost Recon,or Rainbow 6?
I will assume that you got rid of your xb360? I have owned ( and most cases still own ) over 25 different game systems over the last 34 years.
I love my XB1,but there are some 360 games that are still alot of fun to play, just as there were for the 1st xbox,or the ps1-3.
I consider my self as a true gamer above any thing else no matter who made the console.
I have had more freeze up issues with the XB360 edition than the XB 1's. I will say that the XB1 edition is like playing a whole different game over the 360's. The graphics are stunning, game play is much better, and love the 1's controller.
Thanks for your help. I spent 16 years working for a cable company ( Storer, gulfstream,TCI,and TWC ) and at times I wish I still did.
I have been a teacher since 2003 and get so much more out of it. Thanks again!
A very good bunch of info here. I will have to say that the XB1 set up was easier than trying to transfer accounts from 1 360 to another.
The only problem I have had is setting up my verizon FIOS. Since my cable box and TV have NO HDMI out. I will be calling Verizon latter today and see what I need to do.
Thanks to the author for you review!
I hate to say this but, I don't think Steambox has a snowballs chance in Florida in over taking the big 2.This has been tried many times over the years ( anyone remember ON LIVE? Has anyone ever seen 1??? ). The 3DO, Sega Dreamcast, and coleco adam also comes to mind.
The only place that I have seen that offers XB1 games at a discount ( buy 1,get the 2nd 1 at 40%off ) has been Toys-r-us. They were also where ONLY place that I could find a XB1 in stock. They had 3 when I bought mine on the 20th.
My thanks to Richard M in the Port Richey,Fla. T-R-U store for all his help in making my xbox1 christmas wish come true!
BTW,did you notice that there is ONLY 1 game on sale for the PS4? and whats with the 2 prices? I'm still tr...
If you still have a PS3 or XB360,do yourself gaming justice and get a copy of BF3! As you have found out already a BF game is much more a teamwork type of a game than CoD's run and gun style of play.
BTW,WELCOME to battlefield soldier!!!
I agree that metro can become lop sided and is my least favorite map in BF3 and I would put bf4's operation locker in the same boat.
I haven't tried the xbox 1's BF4 yet ( I spent most of the day setting up the 1 and loading in the games ),so I can't give you my honest opinion yet.
Thank you for your reply John,I use to think that I was the only person that feels that way about metro!
Add the 3rd person in the TANK please!!!
